Tux won his maiden race at first asking in a 2-year-old race going 6 1/2 furlongs at Aqueduct on Nov. 9, 2024. Tux tried stakes company when stretched out to 1 1/8 miles in his second lifetime start in the Grade 2 $250,000 Remsen Stakes, and finished third. The Remsen Stakes was a points race on the road to the Kentucky Derby, earning Tux three qualifying points.
