Where's My Ring

Where’s My Ring navigated a long and winding road to her first visit to the winner’s circle, racing eight times, including four starts in graded stakes races, before her first career win April 6, 2024, in the $200,000 Gazelle Stakes. The Twirling Candy filly tracked the pace in the Gazelle before seizing command in early stretch and pulling away to a dominant victory, completing 1 1/8 miles in 1:50.33 to punch her ticket to the Longines Kentucky Oaks May 3 at Churchill Downs.

Prior to the breakthrough victory, Where’s My Ring had raced seven times in Southern California in sprints, one turf race, and two-turn route races and compiled three seconds and one third in that span. Included in the stretch was a fourth-place finish, beaten by 2 ½ lengths, in the Grade 3 Surfer Girl Stakes on the grass in October 2023 and a runner-up finish in the Grade 3 Santa Ysabel Stakes in March 2024, a race that set her up perfectly for the Gazelle across the country in New York.
