Souper Escape won one of three starts as a 2-year-old in 2018, winning a one-mile maiden special weight race by 3 ½ length in November at Laurel Park.
The Medaglia d’Oro filly enjoyed a breakout season in 2019 as she won three of nine races, including the Christiana Stakes on the dirt main track at Delaware Park and the La Lorgnette Stakes on the synthetic surface at Woodbine. She also won a turf allowance race on the grass at Laurel Park.

After a runner-up finish in her 4-year-old debut and then an unplaced finish in a stakes on the grass at Belmont Park, Souper Escape regained her winning form on the all-weather surface at Woodbine with a dominant win the Grade 3 Trillium Stakes July 18. She followed that up with a second consecutive graded stakes score on Woodbine’s main track, taking the Grade 3 Seaway Stakes by a length on Aug. 16.
Souper Escape won the Trillium for the second year on a row on June 26, 2021. She set the early pace, then held off the late rally of Crystal Glaicer to win by a nose.
Grade 1 winner Cry and Catch Me, by Street Cry, is the dam (mother) of Souper Escape.
