Sent off as the tepid 3.20-1 favorite in the Silky Sullivan Stakes against California-breds at Golden Gate Fields, he rated close to the pace, then rallied wide and got up for a 2 3/4-length victory. He covered a mile on the Tapeta surface in 1:36.75.
None Above the Law stayed at Golden Gate for his next start, the Alcatraz Stakes on turf on May 25. Once again the favorite, he won by 1 1/2 lengths for his second consecutive stakes win.

Moving back to grass, None Above the Law rallied up the rail to win the Grade 2 Del Mar Derby Presented by Caesars Sportsbook at Del Mar on Sept. 4, for his first graded stakes win.
