Awesome Strong has lived up to his name in the early part of his career, reeling off three consecutive juvenile sprint wins at Gulfstream Park by a combined margin of 13 ¾ lengths. Awesome Strong won a 4 ½-furlong maiden dash by six lengths in his career unveiling on May 5, 2022. From there, Awesome Strong went straight into stakes and was untouchable in a pair of FTBOA Florida Sire series stakes, first winning the $100,000 Dr. Fager Stakes at six furlongs by 4 ¾ lengths on Aug. 6, and then taking the $200,000 Affirmed Stakes at seven furlongs by three lengths on Sept. 3.
