Wadsworth was winless in his first three career starts as a 2-year-old in 2022 at Saratoga, Churchill Downs, and Keeneland but then sprang to life when switched to the synthetic track at Turfway Park, where he broke his maiden on Dec. 31, 2022.
Wadsworth began his 3-year-old campaign with another win at Turfway Park with an allowance optional claiming victory on Feb. 11, 2023. He subsequently raised up against stakes competition to run in the Grade 3 $700,000 Jeff Ruby Steaks on March 25, and finished fifth in a field of 10.
