Mo Plex began his career with a 10-length win at first asking in a New York bred 2-year-old maiden race going 5 1/2 furlongs at Belmont at the Big A on June 20, 2024. That victory propelled him up against open company in his next race, which was another convincing win in the Grade 3 $175,000 Sanford Stakes going six furlongs at Saratoga on July 13. Mo Plex flashed sharp speed from the gate to lead a seven-horse field in the Sanford and was never seriously challenged on his way to a one-length win.
