2013 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies winner Ria Antonia won her second career start in July 2013 at Woodbine. The Rockport Harbor filly then tried stakes competition, finishing fourth in the Swynford Stakes at Woodbine and fifth in the Grade 1 Frizette Stakes at Belmont Park.

The filly ran fourth in her 3-year-old debut before a trainer change and a second-place finish in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks. Ria Antonia then followed up unplaced tries in the Kentucky Oaks and the Preakness Stakes with a second-place effort in the Iowa Oaks. The filly had a pair of fourth-place finishes over the summer and finished second in the Grade 1 Spinster at Keeneland in October.
Ria Antonia is from the family of Grade 1 winner Behaving Badly.
