Albaugh Family Stable is the Des Moines, Iowa-based racing operation of Jason Loutsch and Dennis Albaugh, who mortgaged his home to start his own pesticide company Albaugh Inc.
Today Albaugh is a multibillion-dollar international company headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa.
In 2015 the stable got their first Grade 1 win when Brody's Cause won the Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland. The colt then finished third in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile. As a 3-year-old, Brody's Cause won the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes and ran in the Kentucky Derby.

The stable resurfaced in the headlines during fall 2016, as their colt Not This Time earned a berth in the Sentient Jet Breeders' Cup Juvenile by winning the Iroqouis Stakes. Not This Time was retired with an injury following a second-place finish in the Juvenile, but the stable was not left in the cold on the Derby trail in 2017. J Boys Echo won the Grade 3 Gotham Stakes after finishing third in the Withers Stakes to punch his ticket to the first jewel of the Triple Crown.
