Blue Rose Farm purchased Arcangelo, a son of the late Arrogate, at auction for $35,000 from Gainesway's consignment at the 2021 September Yearling Sale at Keeneland. Before Arcangelo, Ebbert, who is involved in real estate in Pennsylvania, had won his first stakes race as a horse owner with Doctor J Dub in the 2016 Grade 3 Turf Monster Stakes at Parx Racing in 2016.
