Evelyn Benoit's Brittlyn Stable has achieved its greatest success with Star Guitar, a multiple stakes winner and the all-time leading money earner among Louisiana-breds.

Benoit, a Louisiana native, has been involved with horses since a very young age. She groomed and rode Shetland ponies before she began grade school and developed a lifelong love for horses that continued as she began racing Thoroughbreds.

Star Guitar won 24 of 30 starts and earned over $1.7 million, and became a successful young stallion. His daughter Minit to Stardom won the Grade 2 Honorable Miss Handicap at Saratoga in July 2018 for Benoit.

Minit to Stardom’s win was the 17^th stakes victory for Brittlyn Stable through summer 2019.
