Sheep Pond Partners is an ownership group comprised of contractor and real estate developer Jay Hanley, hedge fund manager Sol Kumin and two other friends. Together they campaign undefeated turf filly Lady Eli, as well as some horses in partnership with Michael Dubb and others. Hanley grew up attending races with his grandfather at Saratoga in upstate New York.

Lady Eli has won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (2014) as well as the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks and four other races in her career to date. After the Belmont Oaks last summer Lady Eli contracted laminitis but has recovered and resumed training in South Florida with trainer Chad Brown.
