Be Your Best (IRE)

Be Your Best won her maiden race as a 2-year-old in 2022 and then spent the entirety of her seven-race 2023 campaign against stakes competition on the turf, where her best finishes came when second in the Grade 2 Wonder Again Stakes at Belmont Park in June, and when second later in the year in the Grade 1 American Oaks at Santa Anita on Dec. 29, 2023.

Be Your Best broke through with stakes wins as a 4-year-old in 2024, first with a victory in the Grade 3 Long Island Stakes going 1 3/8 miles at Aqueduct on Nov. 10, and with another win in her following start in the Grade 3 $165,000 Suwannee River Stakes going one mile on the grass at Gulfstream Park on Dec. 21.

Be Your Best remained in career-best form in her first start as a 5-year-old with a win in the $500,000 Grade 2 Pegasus World Cup Filly & Mare Turf Invitational. Be Your Best pressed the pace all the way in the 1 1/16-mile turf race and won a stretch battle to prevail atop an 11-horse field by a margin of a neck. 

Be Your Best is trained by Saffie Joseph Jr.  She was bred in Ireland by the sire Muhaarar out of the mare Kamakura by Medaglia d'Oro.
