Studlydoright

Studlydoright won his maiden early in the season as a 2-year-old in a 4 1/2-furlong dash at Laurel on May 5, 2024. He had an active juvenile campaign from that point forward. He won the $150,000 Tremont Stakes on June 6 at Saratoga and then finished second by a length in the Grade 3 Sanford Stakes at six furlongs at Saratoga on July 13. On Sept. 28, Studlydoright finished second in the $150,000 Laurel Futurity going one mile, and then he won the $145,000 Nashua Stakes going one mile at Belmont at the Big A on Nov. 2.  Studlydoright finished fourth in a six-horse field in the Grade 2 $250,000 Remsen Stakes going 1 1/8 miles at Aqueduct on Dec. 7.

Studlydoright kicked-off his 3-year-old campaign in the $150,000 Jerome Stakes going one mile at Aqueduct on Jan. 4, 2025, and finished fourth in a seven-horse field. The Jerome was a points race on the Road to the 2025 Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve, and his fourth-place finish earned him two qualifying points to go along with the two points he earned with his fourth-place finish in the Remsen Stakes. In February 2025, he tallied two more Derby points with a fifth-place finish in the $173,500 John Battaglia Memorial Stakes at Turfway Park.
