Tappan Street won his maiden at first asking with a 1 3/4 victory in his only outing as a 2-year-old going seven furlongs at Gulfstream Park on Dec. 28, 2024. That win launched him up versus stalkes company for his second lifetime start which was his 3-year-old debut in the Grade 3 $265,000 Holy Bull Stakes going 1 1/16 miles on Feb. 1, 2025. Sent off as the 1.70-1 favorite in a field of seven in the Holy Bull, Tappan Street rallied from off the pace and briefly led in the stretch until being overtaken by Burnham Square to settle for second.
