Katonah won her maiden race in her fifth career start on Jan. 13, 2023, at Santa Anita and went on to win three more times during that 2023 season capped off by a stakes win in the Pleasanton Mike Stakes on July 9.

After a layoff of nearly a year following the win at Pleasanton, Katonah returned to the races with a promising second-place finish in the Grade 2 San Diego Handicap at Del Mar on July 27, 2024. Following a winless season in 2024, Katonah returned to the winner's circle on Jan. 25, 2025, with a last-to-first closing win atop a seven-horse field in the Grade 2 $200,000 San Pasqual Stakes going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Santa Anita.
Katonah is trained by Doub O'Neill. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Klimt out of the mare Ctimene by Consolidator.
