Quickick finished third in her career debut Aug. 11, 2024, at Saratoga, rallying from last of eight starters to make up ground in the stretch and earn show honors in a seven-furlong won by eventual Pocahantas Stakes winner La Cara. In her next start, the 2-year-old bay McKinzie filly improved considerably racing at the same distance Sept. 1 at Saratoga. She stalked the pace and moved up in the turn before angling out three-wide in the stretch and drawing clear to a 2 ½-length victory under Dylan Davis.

Following that, her connections shipped Quickick to Keeneland for a start around two turns in the Grade 1 Darley Alcibiades Stakes Oct. 4. With Davis aboard again, the filly was bumped early, sat near the rear of a seven-horse field through the backstretch, and moved into contention in the far turn. She finished strong to nab runner-up honors 1 ¼ lengths behind Immersive, the post-time favorite coming in off of a win in Saratoga’s Grade 1 Spinaway Stakes. In her next start, the filly matched up against Immersive again in the NetJets Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Nov. 1 at Del Mar. She closed late to finish a non-threatening third behind Immersive and Vodka With a Twist.

Trained by Tom Amoss, Quickick is out of the Grade 3-winning mare Graeme Six. She’s a half-sister to three stakes winners: Grade 3 winners Cali Star and Delightful Joy and listed stakes winner Seymourdini.
