Victoria's Ranch is the racing operation of retired professional baseball player Victor Martinez, who was a five-time All-Star who finished second in the MVP voting in 2014 when he slugged 32 home runs. A Venezuela native, Martinez played for 18 seasons with three teams as a catcher, first baseman, and designated hitter.
In retirement, Martinez got involved in Thoroughbred racing and landed on the 2020 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve trail when King Guillermo, named after Martinez's father, won the Lambholm South Tampa Bay Derby at 49-1 odds.
