History

Named after Hall of Fame mare Inside Information, the Inside Information Stakes is run at Gulfstream Park at a distance of seven furlongs on the dirt. First run as the Shirley Jones Handicap in 1981, the race was renamed for Inside Information in 2009. The 2004 winner of the race, Randarro, holds the record margin of victory in the race at 7 ¼ lengths. Other winners include Educated Risk, Cat Cay, Harmony Lodge and Madcap Escapade.
