Resolute Racing Madison S.

Inaugurated in 2002, the Madison Stakes is a spring race for older fillies and mares running seven furlongs on the dirt at Keeneland. Half-sisters Dubai Escapade and Madcap Escapade won the race in back-to-back years (2005-2006) for the mare Sassy Pants. No horse, owner or trainer has won the race twice but jockey Edgar Prado has won the race three times and Garrett Gomez has won it twice with filly Dr. Zic running the fastest time in the race at 1:21.32. In its short history, mares and fillies such as Ventura, Informed Decision, Groupie Doll and Judy the Beauty have won it.
