Run at a mile on the turf for horses three years old and older, the Miami Mile moved from Calder to Gulfstream Park in 2015. The race was first run in 1987 with Blazing Bart winning the first edition before Simply Majestic won the next two runnings of the race for trainer John Parisella. Trainer Martin Wolfson has the most wins of any trainer with three with jockey Manoel Cruz also joining him at the top of the leaderboard in that division with three as well.
