The Lecomte Stakes is a race for 3-year-olds on the Road to the Kentucky Derby. The 1 mile and 70 yard race is run at Fair Grounds. The race is named for one of legendary Thoroughbred racehorse and sire Boston's best sons, Lecomte.

In 2013, eventual Preakness winner Oxbow won the race by a record 11 1/2 lengths, and in 2014 Vicar's in Trouble set the current stakes record at the 1 mile 70 yard distance of 1:42.57.
