Kitten's Joy Appleton S.

A one-mile turf race for horses 4 years of age and older, the Appleton Stakes is held at Gulfstream Park every spring. The race has been run at four different distances but has stayed at one mile since 2011. Bill Mott has the most wins in the race with three including one with Paradise Creek. Other winners of the race include Jolie’s Halo, Society’s Chairman and Za Approval.
