The Monrovia Stakes is a turf sprint for fillies and mares named after the city of Monrovia nearby Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. The race was first held in 1968.

Two-time Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint winner Mizdirection won the Monrovia in 2012 and 2013. Belvoir Bay won this race in 2018 and finished second in 2019 on her way to a victory in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint.
